Custom work, reasonable cost When you purchase a monument with us, Toby Polley will set down and help you design a monument that suits your needs. The order is then placed in the hands of Toby and Shannon's nephew, Chris, and he blasts the monument in our shop. Chris and Toby personally set the monument, if allowed by the cemetery. Unlike most other funeral homes we do not sell monuments from a big corporation. With our monuments, as well as our funeral home, we are personally involved in every aspect. We have owned our own monument shop for over five years and, because we own it ourselves, we can offer reasonable prices. Types of Memorial Monuments: Grass Markers Can be set on top of the lawn or set flush. Commonly used for cemeteries that require only flat stones. Bevel-top Markers Also flat and low to ground. They have a 1-1/2 bevel from back to front. Upright Monument Generally an upright monument consists of a tablet and a base. They are available in a variety of sizes. The most common are for a single grave, 2-ft. tablet on a 3-ft. base, or 2-1/2 ft. tablet on 3-1/2 ft. base for a double grave. 3-ft. tablets on a 4-ft. base is most common, however, we also offer 3-1/2 ft. on 4-1/2 ft. base and 4-ft. on 5-ft. base. Slant Monuments Our slant monuments are wedge-shaped monuments generally sawed back and polished front. These can be set on the ground or on a granite base. They are available in the same sizes as our upright monuments. Stock Colors Georgia Grey, Morning Rose, Mahogany and Flash Black.
