I sure am going to miss you my friend. We fought and laughed. We argued and tormented each other. We cussed each other and then we'd laugh some more. You were hard on me but I always knew your bark was WAY worse than your bite. You made a difference in my life and I thank you. Rest in peace Jerry and know that I'll always think of you with a smile on my face.
Kim Rowland

My sympathy goes out to Jerry Dolt's family and there is never the right words to say during a loss of someone so special to everyone. He was a very well known and had so much compassion for others and never had a bad word to say to anyone. We as a community need to hold this family up in prayers and continue to be of great support for the upcoming months that will be a sorrow time for wife, kids, grandkids.
We all will miss him and his generous passion for others.

Jerry will be missed but no forgotten. He was not only a good friend but also someone you just wanted to be around. He was "THE BEST" grandpa a child could have. There was never a function, party, program or event that featured Jocee that Jerry was not also in attendance. Jerry was thoughtful, supportive and considerate of family, friends and his community. He has created great memories for everyone who knew him.
Donnie & Betty Smith

Karen & Family,
I am so sorry for your loss. Jerry was awesome to work with and a friend for many years. He will be sadly misssed. You all will be in our prayers.
Jim & Patricia Stoufer

Karen and Family: Jerry was a great teacher. He was always hard on new hires. That was his way of teaching. Of course, that made him not the most popular foreman. The longer that you worked for Jerry, you got better at your job. Then I realized that he was like a coach, building a team of workers. As coaches do, he strived for perfection from his section. So you never felt that you were good enough. When you needed him, he was always there for you. Then there came a time, when we became very good friends. WATCH OUT! He would play jokes on you. He might eat your lunch when you were not looking or go home wet from a water fight but always that big smile. I will miss my friend.
George & Joyce Willhoit

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. You and Jerry were one of the first that we met when we moved to Lawson. I will always remember fondly those years.
Georgia McClure

To all of the Dolt family, Karen, Tricia, Brian, Chris and Toby,
I am so very sorry for your incredible loss. Words aren't usually something I am without, but the only thing I can think to say is sorry. Please know you are all in my thoughts and prayers at this time and in days and months to follow. I've known Jerry nearly all my life and I will always remember his laugh. His nickname for Bryan of "FishBait" from 30 years ago. I so wish I could be there for the services, but know my heart is with all of you.
Thoughts and prayers,
Patty Kinard Cisler
